Terms and Conditions

These terms govern your use of FixMyRoof. By registering a listing, subscribing to a plan, or otherwise using the site, you agree to them.

1. Who we are

FixMyRoof is operated by GLCB Advertising Services Ltd (“we”, “us”), a company registered in England and Wales under company number 15626459, with its registered office at 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX. Contact: richard@fixmyroof.co.uk.

2. The service

FixMyRoof is a directory that lists roofing businesses and connects them with homeowners looking for roofing work. We offer a free listing and paid plans (currently Professional at £39 a month and Elite at £69 a month, or the equivalent annual prices). Paid plans include features such as receiving enquiries directly, priority placement, and, on Elite, Google Business Profile tools. The current features and prices are shown on our plans page and may change.

3. Accounts

You must give accurate information when you register and keep your login details secure. You are responsible for activity on your account. We may suspend or remove a listing that contains false information, is abusive, or breaches these terms.

4. Claiming a listing

Some businesses are listed before they have an account. If you claim a listing, we review the claim before approving it, and we may contact you to verify it. We approve or reject claims at our discretion.

5. Subscriptions, billing and cancellation

• Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or annually, through Stripe.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
• You can cancel at any time from your dashboard. Cancellation stops future renewals; your plan continues until the end of the period you have paid for, after which the listing returns to the free plan.
• Except where the law requires otherwise, payments already made are non-refundable.
• We may change prices, but any change to your plan price will only apply from your next renewal.

6. Leads

We aim to connect you with relevant homeowner enquiries, but we do not guarantee any particular number, quality or outcome of leads. Each enquiry is a homeowner’s own submission. Any work, quote, contract or dispute between a roofer and a homeowner is solely between those two parties. We are not a party to it and are not responsible for the work carried out, the conduct of either party, or any loss arising from it.

7. Your listing content

You are responsible for the accuracy of your listing, including your business details, services, qualifications and any claims you make. You must hold any insurance and accreditation you advertise.

8. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the site, attempt to access it in unauthorised ways, scrape it, submit false enquiries, or use leads for any purpose other than responding to the homeowner who made the enquiry, in line with our Privacy Policy and data protection law.

9. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or lost business, or for anything arising from the relationship between a roofer and a homeowner. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Our total liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period.

10. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. The current version is always on this page with the date it was last updated.
